The Degree of Green Rating System

Andy Pace had been asked for years what makes certain products green and healthy, and why other products don't deserve the designation. Over the years he worked with many "green products" and started to see a disturbing trend. Many businesses were promoting their products as either "healthy" or "green" but were suspected of "greenwashing" -- not having a truely healthy or environmentally friendly product. Today more and more people are becoming savvy to the "real green" or "true green" nature of products, and thanks to the Degree of Green system, they have all the anwers in one place.

Pace was concerned in the early days of his career that products were not as healthy for people or the planet as they claimed, and thus was prompted to seek a better way. Customers kept asking more questions, prompting Pace to look at three main areas of green product potential: health, sustainability and environmental friendliness.

While researching ingredients to confirm their real health effects, Pace was moved to create a knowledge base about healthy green products that even the most "toxic sensitive" clients could use.
