Architectural millwork manufacturer – Created high-end, image-intensive corporate brochure for this nationally renowned architectural millwork designer and manufacturer. The brochure was designed for flexibility and customization for specific client presentations. Also wrote, edited and organized copy and organized images and consulted with photographers for location shots. Additionally, engaged in strategic planning and consultation with internal staff for development of new web site for the company.
Banking support firm – Gathered information and wrote copy for sell sheets for new product line of this national company. Translated copy into web site content and wrote additional content for a new web site for a new division of this company. Also created entire content for company’s main web site, and consulted on content positioning.
Business support organization – Consulted on function and design of new web site focusing on federal procurement and contacts with federal government, created logo for the site, wrote content for the site and are now publicizing the site. Handle communications and web site content for annual Washington, D.C. event and public relations for other activities. Working to provide unified brand image for organization’s numerous events and activities.
Commercial plumber – Strategic marketing and public relations planning for corporate launch of re-branded commercial and industrial plumbing business. Work included use of Productive Knowledge strategic planning process, brand development, research, graphic design, advertising campaign creation, media plan creation, public relations and business development strategies. Carried over brand development for new web site which was designed to attract attention of local and national general contractors. Strategic plan included search engine optimization and utilization planning, development of content-rich environment and ongoing work to keep the site current.
Facilities security company – Full marketing and public relations campaign, starting with work to refine company’s brand message and then plan and executive wide range of strategies to solidify company’s market position and to foster business growth. Work included development of a new logo, a new web site and other marketing and communications materials and campaigns.
Green commercial building products manufacturers’ rep – Helping an established commercial building products manufacturers’ rep create a green products division. Work includes branding the new division, national publicity, updates to and expansion of existing web site, and development of a local and national marketing strategy to support the brand.
Green home building products retailer and distributor – Engaged Productive Knowledge's proprietary business planning process to position this Wisconsin-based company as a national authority on green building products. Also consult on business operations and capital acquisition for new business launch. Created online audience research program to identify consumer demographics, purchasing trends and business drivers. Created marketing plan, national public relations plan and media plan. Launched multiple new brands and created plan for new businesses, resulting in new revenue streams. Business launch included national rating system for environmental building products, with complete marketing system for retail operations, including brand development, advertising, web site, national public relations, and ongoing consultation.
Green home design consultant and TV producer – Worked with this nationally recognized residential and commercial interior designer and television show producer to bolster her position as an expert on healthy and sustainable living and working spaces.
Home building products manufacturer – Public relations, national media planning, launch of builder program including high-end promotional packaging of samples for distributor use, creation of national incentive program for builders, development of national marketing strategy for new product line, web site consultant. Worked with company on national launch of new product line, and created trade magazine advertisements.
Hot lunch caterer for child care centers – Working to expand visibility of this regional provider of hot lunches, breakfasts and snacks for child care centers and private schools. Work includes publicity, web site consultation and creation of marketing materials to support sales efforts.
IT company – Sales and marketing and business consulting, including mission/vision statements, public relations and communications planning (internal and external), development of sales department, created sales methodology, conducted on-going sales training, internal engineering consultant training, wrote and designed case studies, web site content development, strategic plan for brand development including messaging and execution of media plan.
IT developer/Business strategist – Assisted in refinement of company message, edited web site content to ensure its reflection of company message. Engaged public relations campaign to bolster company’s presence in media distributed to target markets. Created series of articles for targeted media.
National garden seed catalog company – Helped publicize company’s centennial through a variety of nationally focused public relations activities and through creation of a 32-page centennial book.

Telecommunications expense management company – Helped plan and execute marketing and public relations strategy revolving around repositioning of company, including announcement of new company name, and consulting on new web site presentation and content. Brought significant national media attention to a major business initiative the company launched.
Visitors information business - Created monthly e-mail newsletter for this company that monthy publishes a magazine for visitors to Milwaukee and for Milwaukee-area residents seeking information on dining, events and activities.
